This mat serves as good practice when you need to practice shots from the rough. It is especially helpful when you need to practice chips shots from the rough. Excellent way to practice

This was a Christmas gift for my husband, he loves having the basement as his "winter golf retreat". He did plenty of research on the mats, and this one was the best. He's very happy with it.

I set up a mini driving range in my garage... A net, a regular mat with tee. I wanted to practice hitting out of the rough. Its a great little unit...but it sheds...little green plastic grass all around the mat..eventually, there will be no more grass..BUT....for the money..its dynamite...

Works perfect for my office. Fairly realistic rough. It does shed quite a bit at first, but eventually the shedding drops off. Recommend combining with an automatic putting cup or small practice green.

I purchase hundreds of items from Amazon every year for the past several years and have returned only one other product. I'd have to say this was the most disappointing, poor quality item I've ever purchased. The plastic grass was so sparse it smacked of male pattern baldness. As I unrolled the small mat, a considerable amount of the plastic grass fell out and more continued to fall out as I gentle shook the mat. It looked like I brushed a huge green fury animal and that's all that remained was a pile of "green" blowing in the breeze. The short turf Callaway product I purchased in the same order was of exponentially higher quality. Needless to say I asked for a refund on this item and will look for a Callaway "rough" mat.
